Introduction

Austria Forum / NetInteractive Documents takes the protection of the data of its users very seriously and treats personal data, if at all available, confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations.

NID Hawara (mobile app)

We offer NID Hawara, an optional voice assistant for Android and web for the NetInteractive Documents Library and the Austria-Forum. If you use it, the following applies in addition to the rest of this page:

• Microphone — The app may access the microphone when you use voice features (for example while you press and hold the record control). Audio is used to send your spoken question to our servers for speech recognition, to generate answers from our library services, and to play back responses. We do not use the microphone for unrelated purposes.
• Account information — If you sign in with Google, for NID Voice app or ATSNET app we process the data you allow (for example your email address and display name) to provide access. Google’s use of data is described in Google’s privacy policy.
• Voice and queries — Your questions may be processed on our systems (including automated / AI-based processing) to return answers. Do not use voice to submit information you do not want processed in this way.
• Data on the device — The app may store sign-in or session data on your device in a protected form until you sign out.
• Sharing — We do not sell your personal data from NID Hawara to third parties for their marketing. Processors that host or support our systems may process data only as needed to run the service.

Access data

The Austria-Forum and NID collects data about access to its web site and saves it as "server log files". When used anonymously, only different non-personal data will be logged, such as:

1. Visited website
2. Time at the time of access
3. Source / reference from which you came to the page
4. Used browser
5. Operating system used
6. Used IP address

The data collected are only statistical evaluations and to improve the offer.

Cookies

Like most web sites, the Austria Forum and NID uses so-called "cookies". These are small text strings that are stored on the user's device. The user's browser accesses these files. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness and security of the Austria Forum. Popular browsers offer the preference option of not allowing cookies. Note: There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all features of the Austria Forum without restrictions if you make the appropriate settings.
